I referred to the AAA earlier under “4-H.” 

I received “The Golden Scroll . . . for the Promise of Greatness” from

 Harold Schafer of the Gold Seal Company in July 1984.

My award plaque reads,

“In recognition of the ceaseless pursuit of excellence –

a dedication of heart and mind to life’s daily challenge –

as evidenced by outstanding ambition, talent, enthusiasm, imagination, initiative, concentrated purpose, and determination.”
